What can I say, I have had a busy few weeks. For the last week I have been stuck at my dads and we had to walk to the local village to get supplies. There was a mad journey for my father and step mum yesterday in a neighbour's Land Rover to get a Turkey and the rest of the Christmas dinner. Today, I have been sawing up any wood that I can find as the log delivery is snowed out and my Dads house relies on good old fashioned log fires to keep away the cold (barely).
Last week I was however touring round the country with my brothers company Rollapaluza. We started the week in Butlins where I saw a couple of bands playing live in-between our races. Factory Floor, Autolux and Caribou, which was ace.
We then moved up to Bristol to a venue called 'The Lanes' which is a bar/hostel that has five bowling lanes off the dance floor. A very interesting gig.
Finally we ventured up to the Manchester Velodrome where gaggle after gaggle of kids poured onto the bikes. After this we went and drank with the riders, which was ace, mainly because I had absolutely no idea who they were and apparently if you know your cycling they were quite special. All a good laugh though.
The week previous to this I found myself in Fussel (Austria) for another Rollapaluza and ended up on Austrian news for a brief second, in the background. I appear at 2.04 for my astounding TV début.
Anyway the character is progressing slowly. It has been hard to find time in the mad rush and being snowed in is far more time consuming than you would think, epecially when it tkaes you hours to get to the shops and when you return you have forgotten something. Ah well at least the pub is only 1/4 of a mile away.
Anyway really pleased with him so far, just got to get him finished.
he's looking pretty sweet dude loving the small details in the texture
